In May 2014, I went to Slam Dunk Festival in England in the midst of a seven-week backpacking trip. It was a pretty good lineup, plus the first real music festival I'd been to. (I don't really count Calgary's X-Fest; there's only one stage and it doesn't quite have the same vibe.) Best part is that it's one of the only festivals that doesn't have super-strict camera rules for someone without a press pass, meaning I could bring my DSLR in and shoot.
So, here's some of the photos I took:
Sidenote: Jason Butler, the front man of letlive., is one of the craziest people I've ever seen perform on stage. He climbs stuff, swings the mic around, and puts more than his entire heart into his performance. I've seen the band three times now, and every single time I've been blown away by their energy. Definitely one of my favourites to see live.
